Kryon® R407C is a non-ozone-depleting ternary mixture, composed of HFC-32 - HFC-125 - HFC-134a; was developed as a replacement product for R-22 (HCFC-22) in air conditioning and refrigeration applications.

It is also a zeotropic mixture which, unlike azeotropic fluids, varies its temperature during the evaporation or condensation phases, for a given pressure value.

It is mainly used in small residential and commercial air conditioning systems.

It is also used in water chillers not equipped with centrifugal compressors and in commercial medium temperature refrigeration systems.
